Laptop is getting outdated. Life is boring when you're stuck in an industrial area. Getting screwed at work all the time for no reason. When life gets tough what would you do? People tend to indulge themselves in temporary pleasures, force out the the daily stress. Smoking, drinking, vice, yoga and many more. For ECCENTRIC, he recently return back to reading books. Odd isn't it? He once swore not to read books again, that he had dealt with the last book of his life upon graduation but it seems fate has a funny way of playing with life.
Or maybe its just the old addiction to history and warfare resurfacing in the ECCENTRIC after laying dormant for too long. Few weeks ago while he is browsing for books at Borders in MidValley, he saw a series that particularly catch his attention. The conqueror series trilogy by Conn Iggulden focuses on the rise of Genghis Khan, of how he will unite his people and eventually form one of the largest empire on history. "Wolf of the Plains", "Lords of the Bows" and "Bones of the Hills" were loosely based on the real events of history but still provides good information into the Mongol nomadic lifestyle.
How life has changed since graduation. The end of a harcore online gamer to a bookworm that's sad.......
