Woohoo!!! CNY break is finally over!!! ECCENTRIC can finally settle down and have some rest and sleep. For the past whole week, life had been miserably hectic, boring and tiresome. Travelling around like a headless chicken...... not knowing where to go......... and the best part is getting stuck with thousands of other headless chickens on the road..... and u start wondering the lame joke: "Why did the chicken cross the road?" or rather in this situation "got stuck in the road." Luckily everyone is headless, otherwise the cluckings can be easily heard from the moon.
Then visit people hardly known or seen, sit down and start hearing nonsense, rumours and bad stories about other relatives. The backstab effects have a cumulative aura. Once started everyone wants a piece of the story, not knowing who speaks the truth any more. Bored by such ridiculous events, the mind starts floating into it's own fantasy, forgetting that the body is actually sitting and pretending to smile at strangers. The eyes keep staring at the watch hoping time travel is possible so escape is possible.
Even eating becomes a nightmare. Eating favourite and sumptuous food seems great at the beginning but when it becomes a routine, fear creeps into the mind. The stomach rebels, screaming "enough is enough!!!" But still the hand shoved in more, giving face to those strangers that is trying hard to get rid of those food. The tongue can no longer differentiate taste, everything becomes the same, only the texture reminds the difference. The throat itches, a sign of warning to stop eating before the it becomes infected.
Now that the worse week of the year is over, its time for ECCENTRIC to settle down, get some rest and be the person he had always been. Breathing the freaking hot air may not be a comfort, but the smell of freedom sure is.
