Woohoo!!! It's LONER's birthday today. Thought of goin back campus to have a solitary confinement alone, but things turn out a little different. Wil was back too, doing his thesis. But i saw him working harder on the mahjong table instead with jet and kev =P
So today LONER had been enjoying their company. It was rare for the LONER to have company during his birthday. Thanks a lot especially for the dinner ^^
LONER was amazed at how much he had miss out in this few weeks. Without streamyx at home, he rarely onlines, kinda cut off from his info source aka Facebook. Suddenly just found out somebody's already in a relationship!!! Like jet say:"Big boy d loh". So congratz to u!!! May happiness be with u two (u know who u r) ^^
Anyway, kinda reflect a lot every time LONER reached his birthday, reflecting on his achievements and failure. Every year around this time he's rather distressed, don't get him wrong: He was thankful for being able to see the world for another year, but was sad to have failed to make any achievements. Many great figures have already achieved something by his age. Saint Joan of Arc led the army of France to victory at 17, Cao Cao became a magistrate at 20, Napoleon already won battles at his twenties, most popular singers and actors are already famous at LONER's current age. LONER is 23, and he is nobody, nothing worth be remembered, no more than a bag of meat. Every year that pass is another disappointment, another defeat. His thirst for success is unquenchable. He longs to make his mark in history before leaving this world, his deeds pass on to the future generations of how he made the world a better place. However, his dream still eludes him to this day.....
